TIFF, Romania’s most preeminent film festival, offered a great opportunity to Vodafone to connect with Transilvanian people in a unique and relevant way.
Instead of handing out leaflets and giving away free SIM cards, we shot a movie. We recontextualized famous movie scenes and invited real people to act. The films were posted on facebook page, voted and a final movie was done from the most appreciated scenes. Results were impressive . We had above 25,000 page views in 7 days in only one city. 9200 unique visitors, 5000 new fans, and huge PR coverage.
